Agata Wacławik-Wejman
Co-founder of INPRIS and member of the Management Board.
Agata completed her legal studies at the Jagiellonian University and at the Harvard Law School, she also studied at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. Agata is an attorney and counsellor at law admitted to practice in New York.
Agata works as a policy counsel at Google.
She used to be a counsel at the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland. She taught international commercial arbitration at the Jagiellonian University (the team which she coached in 2010, came in fifth at the The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna).
Agata has a multi-year professional experience in the financial and international development sectors, including serving as management board member of KDPW S.A., the Polish central securities depository and as a counsel at the World Bank in Washington D.C. She is a member of the Legal Certainty Group, a securities law expert group of the European Commission. Agata is a member of the Polish-German Center for Banking Law at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. She is an author of numerous books, articles and policy papers on public and private sectors development, financial and securities law, corporate governance and the governance of state-owned enterprises, see: list of main publications.
