Dr Gołębiowska-Śmiałek – is a specialist in international relationships and American Policy Studies. Her scientific areas of interests include U.S. Middle East Policy and sources of conflicts in that area. Her doctoral thesis deals with the problem of control over the oil resources in the Persian Gulf in the light of American policy in the Middle East
