Outcome of the INPRIS Water Negotiation Project with comments from Dr Magdalena Gołębiowska-Śmiałek

16 June 2011, the final round of negotiations within the Project took place on 21-22 May 2011 in Cielęta. The result of the round was a Declaration signed by the Participants representing Israel and Palestine. Today, we publish the text of the Cielęta Declaration, together with comments from Dr Gołębiowska-Śmiałek.

What is worth noting is that the Participants of the Project spent five months on an intensive work with the problem of viable distribution of shared water resources between Israel and Palestine. The Participants simulated work over a project which could happen in an international consulting or law firm. The Participants exchanged hundreds of emails, draft contracts, and markups. They were in contact with their respective Experts.

Dr Gołębiowska-Śmiałek participated in the final round of talks in Cielęta. Dr Gołębiowska-Śmiałek directly coached Israeli team.
