Recruitment for the position of the expert on foreign legal aid delivery systems

10 August 2012. INPRIS – Institute for Law and Society (inpris.pl) is looking for three foreign experts to play the role of the expert regarding foreign legal aid delivery systems.

INPRIS is taking part in the project: „The development of a comprehensive and sustainable support mechanisms for primary legal aid delivery system in Poland” (systemic project that is being implemented under action 5.4.1 „Systemic support for the Third Sector”, Human Capital Programme, Priority V).

The project is implemented by the Ministry of Labour (a leading partner) and four partner organizations – apart from INPRIS there are: Institute of Public Affairs, Legal Clinics Foundation and Union of Citizens Advice Bureaux.

Conditions of the colaboration:

  • period: August – September 2012
  • working hours: 50 hours.

Main responsibilities:

Preparation of the expertise (paper) on selected issues/aspects related to the functioning of the foreign systems of primary legal aid (legal and citizens advice), inter allia standards of primary legal aid delivery, quality control, monitoring and evaluation, usage of modern technology, participation of NGOs in the legal aid systems etc.

Requirements:

  • scientific/academic/research and practical knowledge of legal aid delivery systems regarding at least one of the following countries (The Netherlands, Great Britain, Ireland, Norway, Finland, USA, Germany)
  • previous publications on legal aid.
