Manager and former bank president with interest in education, social work and activism, and mathematical analysis in games

Włodzimierz Grudziński graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw.

In 1975-1977 and 1981-1990 he worked at The Computer Science Institute (University of Warsaw). Since 1990 until 2007 he was the President of BISE Bank, one of the first Polish banks established after 1990. He is the co-founder and in 1997-2009 vice-president of the Polish Banks Association.

Currently Mr. Grudzinski is an independent counsel for the President of The Polish Banks Association. Other responsibilities:

• President of the Supervisory Board of TISE S.A.,
• member of the Supervisory Board of Blikle Sp. z o.o.,
• member of the coordinating committee for the government program “Support for New Enterprises in Cooperation with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego”,
• member of the investment board of the JESSICA equity found,
• member of the boards of “Foundation for Poland” and “Youth Enterprises” foundations,
• founding member of The Polish Computer Science Society and Polish GO Association,
• member of the financial board of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation.
